Selling cakes for children !
On the initiative of some Bolivia Digna’s volunteers, this monday was marked by a cake’s sale. They were thinking to find a way to raise money in order to organise a special trip with children.
Indeed, Fany, Alexandra, Mazarine and Lucas set up a little stand in the street of Cochabamba, with some homemade french food specialities, like crêpes, sablés and madeleines, with a side of lemonade. This event met a real success with curious locals, especially toward students, who does not have the opportunity to taste french food everyday.
This kind of inititiative is also a good way for the volunteers to introduce the association toward Cochabambinos, and make it more famous in the city.
Eventually, everything was sold at the late morning, and the money collected during this event will insure a very enjoyable trip for children.
