"Thank you for showing me how much of a change or how much I can change in so little time"

Dear Fundación Bolivia Digna,

My experience in Bolivia was splendid! The kids expected me to be their role model and, in some ways, I was. They looked up to me, reverencing how far I had travelled just to be with them. After all, I had travelled to exclusively spend one month playing with and teaching them. But, I knew I wanted to be influenced by the outskirts of Cochabamba more than to be an influence in it.

And, all I can say is that I grew to become more of a cosmopolitan citizen in Cochabamba-- to feel, under my skin, how it felt to live under these kids' harsh conditions. I was privileged to have come into contact with the kids of Mercado Campesino and Tackoloma; and I am forever grateful for the time spent as a volunteer in Bolivia Digna.
